Surfing 

What can we say, we love this sport and we want to share our passion with you

Surfing is first and foremost all about FUN and the extraordinary connection with the ocean, which we will teach you during our surf camp :)

Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced surfer, our instructors will make sure you receive the right amount of knowledge and challenges during our surf lessons.

​

We know, that for many of you, this may be your first encounter with surfing, so we below you can find a plan of our lesson!

Introduction

At the beginning, we will familiarize you with basic safety rules, surfing techniques and the specificity of a  surf spot. Then we will select equipment tailored to your needs - wetsuit, leash and board :)  

Warm-up on land + technique

We start each lesson with a general warm-up to properly warm up the muscles and prepare the body for exercise. We also give a lot of importance to mobility exercises, which help achieve a better position in surfing. After a general warm-up, we move on to learning "Pop up", i.e. getting up on the surfboard.

Time to surf!

 Under the supervision of our instructors, you will catch your first waves and improve your skills. Our certified instructors will also teach you how to choose a wave by yourself, proper paddling technique and how to be in the "line up" :)

Post-surfing Chill

After the lesson, we will take you to a local restaurant for delicious food and the best Poncha in Madeira!

P.S. Maybe you don't know yet, but Poncha is the best drink you've ever had ;)

Surfing+

We believe that to achieve better results on the waves, you also need to work on land.

 That's why, in addition to surfing lessons, we have created an activity program that will help you progress even faster in the water!

Yoga and Mobility

Regular practice of yoga and mobility exercises is a perfect complement to surfing training. Thanks to these exercises, you will improve your flexibility, strength, concentration and you will also reduce the risk of injuries. Better flow will make your surfing even smoother and more spectacular.

Surf Skate

Surfskate is a great tool to improve your surfing skills. Training on land can significantly strengthen muscles, improve balance and coordination, and also serve as a tool for learning new maneuvers.

Video Analysis and Theory

Video analysis is a valuable tool that will help you develop your surfing skills. We record you during lessons, and in the evenings we watch and analyze your surfing.  Combining practice with theory and appropriate education will allow you to achieve a higher level of surfing and enjoy every single moment of it.
